FAQ
Why is The Hub a monthly membership?
We are creating a community experience where people can build relationships with other members, have confidence in the experience they and their dog will have, and access a range of included offerings. This ultimately allows us to offer an encompassing and impactful experience at a lower price. Additionally, all members of The Hub receive complimentary access to The App, which is a $200/year saving.
Can I drop off my dog at The Hub?
No, the primary purpose of the Hub is not doggy daycare. We will pilot limited drop-off care options with select members of The Hub, but it will not be part of the core offering at this time.
What do I need to do before bringing my dog to The Hub?
You will be asked to provide proof of vaccination, and all dogs will undergo a temperament test to ensure they can have a healthy and low-stress experience amongst other dogs at The Hub. If your dog demonstrates fear, stress, or anxious behaviors, then we will happily recommend that we work with you and your dog on The App and in training classes. In the meantime, dog guardians are invited to be members of The Hub even if they visit without their dog.
I don’t think my dog would do well at The Hub. Can I be a member even if I come without my dog?
Absolutely, dog guardians are welcome to be members of The Hub even if they feel it’s best to leave their dog at home. We know that guardians of reactive dogs appreciate being able to build community with each other, and that’s one of the many things that will be possible at The Hub. You’ll also have access to The App so you can continue working with your dog in comfortable environments and maybe be able to bring them to The Hub in the future!
I don’t have a dog of my own, can I still come to The Hub?
Absolutely! We know it’s hard to spend time around dogs when you don’t have one of your own, so we welcome all dog lovers to The Hub to spend time with dog and to learn what it’s like to interact with a dog before taking on the responsibility themselves.
Can I bring takeout to The Hub that I pick up elsewhere in City Center?
Absolutely! There are numerous delicious restaurants at City Center Bishop Ranch that offer takeout and we welcome members to bring the food into The Hub to enjoy a nice meal out with their dog in an environment that’s comfortable and surrounded by other dog lovers. We just request that everyone clean up after themselves and clean up any mess or spills immediately.
How do I access the Pack Animals App if I have a membership to The Hub?
All members of The Hub will have complimentary access to The App and will receive a code to enter if they have downloaded the app for the first time. If a member stops their membership to The Hub, then access to The App will also stop unless the member continues the App membership separately.
Is there anything else like The Hub available to me in the Bay Area?
No, The Hub is the Bay Area’s first “third-place” for humans and dogs to work, learn, grow, relax, and have fun together! We are thrilled to be located in the very popular City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, so members can grab takeout or coffee from any of the amazing restaurants and coffee shops, and bring it to The Hub to enjoy in a dog-friendly environment.
Some love from our community.

I love these nuggets - it’s not overwhelming to answer, it’s playful and I get to learn a lot
I always love that there are multiple right answers, and finding out what the different options are

I turned to Pack Animals for help figuring out where to get a puppy from. It's the most important decision in the process and I would have been so confused otherwise! While I wait to bring home my puppy, I'm using Pack Animals to prepare. There are MANY questions I hadn't even thought of, but I know the answers to because of the proactive knowledge nuggets and lessons.

I love doing these with my husband - such an interesting conversation starter to get us on the same page with how to raise our dog.

Andrea is a top-notch trainer. Her dedication, patience, and expertise have made a remarkable behavior change on my 1yo puppy Momo. Thank you for setting a supportive method that both Momo and I can learn and grow, which strengthens the bonding between us. I am really grateful for your amazing training!

Andrea is wonderful to work with! She makes great suggestions that are clear and easy to follow. Even though Ralphie is already well trained, she made practical suggestions to help with barking and too much excitement when the doorbell rings or when strangers walk by the house. I would highly recommend her and Pack Animals!
